Cambria's SPLASH Mob Proposal

It was a great day for a Surprise Proposal!!!

Jeff got with Tia and planned a Flash Mob for his Proposal to Cambria

Tia included all of her classes, like she always does and let everyone know that it was for Cambria's Marriage Proposal from Jeff.

Everyone was soooo excited and kept the secret Tight Lipped!

Here she is with Cecilee on Skype just getting ready to drive over with us to the Splash Pad

 We picked up some of Sydnee's friends and Cambria still had absolutely NO IDEA

what was in store for her!

 We pulled up to the Splash Pad and Cambria made a comment to us,

"These people here at the park are here enjoying their day and they have NO IDEA

what's about to hit them with the Flash Mob!"

Hahahaha we all just laughed softly and thought, "YOU HAVE NO IDEA what's about to hit you"

Waiting for the music to start and the fun to begin!!

 12:15pm the music started and Everyone loved dancing in the Splash Pad!!

Cambria was on the far left and having a blast dancing in the water.

Tia had the teachers do a solo and moved Cambria to the middle and she was dancing like crazy!!

She was having to much fun, it showed on her face.

Totally NO THOUGHT about anything!!!

The photographer who took some of these pictures just heard about the

Proposal and came to take pictures.

 She was dancing and he came from behind and she bumped into him. He turned her around and her facial expression was priceless!!! She was shocked!

He got down on his knee and the water came on.

He was soaked and the question was asked,

"Will you marry me?"

This was the answer, "YES!!!"

Everyone celebrated by dancing in the water!!!

Thank goodness we had both grandparents present for this big day!!!

We were so sad that Cecilee wasn't there with us on this day, but she was on Skype the whole time!

 

Trevor's 1st home game as a Junior

Trevor had his first home game and was amazing, he played like he always does, but finally got to get on the field and show his game. His name was announced at least 10 times on tackles. The student section was even chanting his name, "TREVOR, TREVOR!!!" "THS, THS, THS" and "WE WANT TREVOR!!" (THS means the Trevor Horlacher Show)

The first time he heard them start chanting, he looked like he wanted to crawl under the bench and hide. He is sooo funny!!!

Dad asked me, "Are they yelling TREVOR's name?" I said, "NO, why would they be yelling Trevor's name? He's a Junior!" We had NO IDEA that they were!

			Trevor absolutely loves it when BOTH of his GRANDPA's are there watching him play. They both played key postitions while in high school and college.

They both LOVE watching him play, but they also both LOVE to coach him after a game and let him know what he could do better next time.

 Grandma had the funniest game planned for the kids.  You put a shower cap on and put shaving cream on top. Then your partner throws cheese puffs at the shaving cream head and whoever gets the most cheese puffs on the head to look like hair, wins!!

 All of the little kids LOVED this game!!!

The older kids enjoyed it as well, trying to throw the cheese puffs for them, was the fun part.

Grandkid CAMPOUT on the 4th of July 2012

My mom has had this tradition for the last 10 years with all of her grandkids. 

She has them for the 4th of July~takes them to Hurricane Pool for FREE swimming, then have a campout in the backyard, cousin store, s'mores and campfire, etc.

Here are the grandkids that participated this year:

Cecilee (18), Lisia (13), Dad, Kiana (16), Trevor (16), Tayvia (14), Mom, Cambria (19)

Sydnee (13), Ammon (11), JT (11), Teancum (8), Hannemann (10), Keawe (7), Janessa (7), Kali (5)

Age is NOT a factor, just if they are still in diapers, it's a NO.

Mom and Dad are troopers!!! They are soo excited to do this for the grandkids and their only stipulation is that US kids do something together that night. So we went to dinner together at SAKURA.

They played a soccer game with watermelon in the pool.
The BIG balding guy was playing against Trevor very competitively.

Teancum jumped on his back trying to help Trevor out.

Mom was yelling, "Leave my Grandson alone and get your hands off him!!!!"

Trevor's team ended up winning 5-2

Then Trevor won the BIGGEST SPLASH contest.

Grandpa taught him and the other grandsons how to do his famous BIG SPLASH.

Grandma was so proud of Trevor and everyone was so excited that he won everything!!

My Dad!!!!

This man has ALWAYS been Superman to me!!!
 I remember  being a little girl and my dad and I driving in the care and he turned to me and said, "Tonya, I'm not who you think I am"
Yes, quite creepy -
He opened his mouth and showed me his tooth in the back had a tatoo on it with a Superman Symbol.
I was a little freaked out. He had that for many many years.
But he held true to that, HE WAS AND IS My Superman & Always will be.

Any picture of me and my dad will always hold a special place in my heart.

He is my HERO!!

My dad no matter what he goes through in life, ALWAYS has a smile on his face and a positive outlook. This past year has been a trial for him and my mom, with his whole knee situation.

I know that there were days where he was so sad and depressed, but he never let us see him like that.

His famous line, every time we would call to check up on him, "Top of the Morning to ya". Always so happy and always has an eternal perspective about the trials that we go through. He has always taught us kids to be grateful for our trials, because they will make us stronger people as we go through them. My dad just keeps getting STRONGER and STRONGER because of all the trials he continues to go through. He is truly a SUPER HERO to me, with all of that strength he can accomplish anything!!!

My dad has the strongest testimony I know and honors his priesthood to the fullest.

He is such a great example to his sons and grandsons to follow, in doing their priesthood responsibilities. I remember being a little girl and my dad would give me father's blessings and I LOVED the feel of his big hands on my head. You would think that they would be heavy during the blessing, but I could feel the spirit so strong through my dad and feel his love for me.

He would speak through the spirit.

Even being married I would ask my dad to give me a blessing sometimes.

My dad's smile is contagious!!! He is always soooo happy and loves life!!  When my dad smiles, his eyes twinkle. He is so handsome and always so loving!! My dad has the biggest heart and will do anything for any of his kids or anyone!!! He loves to give service and is an extremely hard worker.
Anyone that knows my dad, knows that he LOVES to sing and has an incredible voice. I could listen to him sing for hours. He has really developed that talent that he has been given from our Heavenly Father and uses it to help others. Everyone that hears him sing, just falls in love with him and his voice. I am so proud of my dad and his talent.

I am so glad that my son looks so much like my dad. He has always wanted to be as tall as grandpa and he has reached his goal. He just recently wrote a report about his HERO, and he chose MY DAD!!  Trevor reminds my dad of himself as he was a young boy, I just hope as a mother, that my son can be JUST LIKE my DAD, even just a fraction of what he is, I would be happy. I love my dad soooo much and feel very fortunate to be his daughter.

FATHER'S DAY 2012

 I had all of the dad's over for Father's Day Potluck.

I had everyone bring their dad's favorite meal and dessert to share.

I set "THE MEN'S" table. I tried to make it as special as I could.

They had little gifts at each place setting and candy sprinkled all over the table.

 Sydnee and I made name tags for each seat.
