Happy 40th Anniversary

October 25th was my mom and dad's 40th anniversary. All of us kids decided to put something together for our deserving parents. They never had a wedding reception so we decided to do one for them for the family. Irene invited them to her home for dinner, but we had decorated the clubhouse with beautiful tables with centerpieces, wedding cake and decorations. Irene blindfolded them and brought them over and we revealed their dinner and told them, "This is the product of 40 years of marriage" and they saw all of us kids with all of their grandchildren. My parents just burst into tears. They have had a wonderful 40 years together and have all of us to show for it.

I love my parents so much and appreciate all they have done to make my life so wonderful. They have been wonderful examples of a happily married couple.

We had a great evening with them. Irene put together a polynesian show with all of the grandkids that performed. They cut their wedding cake and we had a photographer that took pictures all evening and a huge family picture. Our family just gets bigger and bigger every year. This past year our family has grown by 5 more people. We love how big our family is getting. We have 2 new babies and 3 others who will be marrying into our family-Becca, Josh and Devan. We are so excited to have them join our family in December. Families are AWESOME and I don't know what I would do without mine. I don't ever want to know or ever think about it.

Thomas "MAJOR" Stokes is HERE

My little sister Tia and Giant Brother-in-law, Andy had their baby!!!!

Monday, October 6th, 2008 at 5:39PM.

7 lbs. 10 oz. 21 1/2"

I felt to fortunate to be able to be with them through the whole experience. What a beautiful experience it was to witness Major come into this world. Andy and Tia are going to be wonderful parents. Andy has already taken over his role as protector!!! He was watching the nurses every move with that baby. Tia grew up right before my eyes, watching her go into motherhood. I love you guys so much and I cannot get enough of this little guy. He is going to be so much fun watching grow-up. Love you Tia and Andy.
